Ethan is the founder and guitarist/songwriter in the Rochester, New York outfit, Smart Alex. He has 30 + years performing live and in the studio... New York, Los Angeles, Nashville, and has touring and recording credits which include Don Potter, Bat McGrath, (The Judds)

Ethan plays his right-handed guitars strung upside down, as well as his left-handed guitars strung right-handed. He is also an avid collector of vintage guitars and tube amplification.
